From the Mailbag...

"Just a 'thank you' - we are indeed obligated to pray for them. Their deeds are already public knowledge; and this is a message that their deeds are neither acceptable, nor  condoned by faithful Catholics.

We here in Buffalo, NY, look forward to a new Bishop one day soon, who will lead the people without hindering the growth of the Traditional Latin Mass, one who will stop closing churches (particularly ones with high altars)  at a rapid-fire pace, without concern for parishioner pleas or financial solvency, one who will be a true Bishop and not a 'figurehead' who puts money in front of saving souls, by selling them to Buddhists, protestant groups with smaller numbers than the Catholic parishioner numbers that he shut down, Muslims, and secular groups, without any evangelization for their souls! This is all public knowledge and has been discussed in our Buffalo News (Warren Buffet owned - Pro-Death paper) as well as smaller papers concerned with the Catholic Church here and its parishioners.  I can say no more about 'other' things at this writing; may God have mercy on him and send us a truly Good Shepherd.

We are dying here in The DOB. It's a joke. We drive 45 minutes to St. Catherine's Ontario to Queen of The Angels Latin Mass Apostolate for Mass, as often as we can afford the gasoline.

Bishop Kmiec, may God have mercy on you.

May God have mercy on all of us.

God Bless you"

"Funniest site I’ve ever come across because it’s all true. Great way to keep your sanity in the asylum!Great LW theme!"

"I believe we are to defend our faith and if it is being attacked by evil forces we must fight to the death to honor God.

Most of the churches in our diocese have moved their tabernacles from the front center to the sides. One church, even has in it in the back of the church and to the side. When people come into the church they no longer genuflect and the ones that do, don't know which direction to face and what they genuflecting to. They have lost their respect for the Eucharist. I witnessed one priest just walk into the church and forget to genuflect altogether.

People come into our churches, sit down, and begin to talk, like they are there for some kind of show. Most of them hardly ever say a prayer before Mass. The reverence has left the churches. Replaced by whatever kind of music, the music director can come up with, to entertain the crowd. Church is no longer personal. One feels like part of the crowd. Responsibility has all but gone. Instead of bringing each one of us closer to God, our churches have become havens of good feelings. If it feels good you are saved. Sing and be happy. Forget about sin and asking for forgiveness. Confessions are rare.

All, but one church in our diocese, (St. xxxxxxx Roman Catholic) has removed their communion rails. Even though the Pope has set by example, the receiving of communion on the tongue, while kneeling our churches encourage receiving the Eucharist on the hands. The respect for the body and blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has been diminished. There is nothing special about it anymore. We have taken Holy out of Holy Communion and I can only blame my Bishop for this. He has the power to enforce what our Pope is trying to bring back to us. The holiness of Holy Communion.

We need stronger Bishops who are not afraid to crack the whip (chastising thus preserve us), lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. We are not being delivered from evil with our present Bishop. "

"Our family likes your web site! Thank you for courage to post this information; it is a sign of hope that we still have people who will defend Our Lord.

I went to an open pro-life Mass and Conference in Chicago a few years ago. Msgr. Reilly of Helpers of God's Precious Infants, prayed the Mass before a lunch, and then the Cardinal came for a Q & A session. Cardinal Francis George said to this large group of people, myself included, that he, Cardinal George, will not deny pro-abort politicians Holy Communion. He used the excuse that politicians are committing mortal sin themselves and that, by denying politicians Holy Communion, he would be using The Eucharist as a bargaining tool!

I was mortified and instantly prayed, fasted and sent letters to the Cardinal! Most of the people I know who were there work for the Archdiocese and were not phased by hearing him openly defy the Laws of the Church, CANON LAW! I later spoke to another witness who agreed with the Cardinal, saying now was not the right time to reprimand the sinners. I reminded him that the Cardinal also said, in the same talk, that America as we know it will no longer be here in 50 years!

A couple months after this encounter, Msgr. Reilly was back in town and I was able to ask him what he thought of the Cardinal's quote regarding his apathetic views concerning the Holy Eucharist being given to pro-abort politicians. Msgr. Reilly said, 'I respectfully disagree with him, and we can do that, respectfully disagree with him. If they were killing Bishops and Cardinals, you better believe, they would not be receiving Holy Communion!"

PS We are also praying for Bishop Doran of the Rockford Diocese, (IL). Although Bishop Doran has written some powerful letters for life, which we wish he would demand to be read in all of his parishes, especially the liberal ones, and we love his talks and respect him for his holy apostolic position, he seems to be absent more than not. He is allowing some extremely liberal priests to take control of the diocese. Many people in his diocese are being denied the Holy Latin Mass that the Holy Father wishes! Requests for this Mass always fall on deaf ears. Pastors are told that they are not allowed to say the Latin Mass and that the orders come from the Bishop's office! Again, contrary to what the Holy Father wishes. There are many priests in the Rockford Diocese being denied the right to say the Extraordinary Form of the Mass; please pray for these persecuted priests.

One priest in the diocese was forced to recall all the little pro-life mini dolls he gave out and apologize for his pro-life talk!

Rosary High School in Aurora preaching homosexuality but will not allow a priest to hear confessions! One nun, the Director of Religious Education in a parish, who believes God is a woman, wore a sweatshirt with the Nativity on it and an arrow pointing to the crèche saying, 'It's a girl'! Mercy, this fan of women priests also changes the gospel readings so that they are all-inclusive and, sadly, this is permissible. At the same parish, where they just recently acquired a second order of nuns, thankfully, one young baby priest recently left his holy priesthood. Fr. Oswalt, http://stpatrickparish.org/index.php?m=2&s=68&d=1348, after being told that he was not allowed to say the Extraordinary Form of the Mass in 'their' church. Finally, Fr. Oswalt was told that he could say a Latin Mass for the youth retreat, but two weeks before the retreat, he was told that he could not say it! This is why the pastor says in the letter cited above that he knew the young priest was going to leave the parish, and priesthood!

Take a look at Life Site News www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/jan/08010703.html. Fr. Bartolomeo being dismissed from the diocese for giving a pro-life homily, without warning, and as my 14 year old pointed out, Fr. Pfleger is still going strong! Praying for the Holy Ghost to enlighten these minds and to fill these hearts with God's love.

Keep up the great work! As one priest said to me, "It is up to the laity to repair the church." He advised me to read St. Thomas Aquinas Summa, Part 2 Q. 33. This section is about correcting the clergy, because we love them and don't want them to go to hell. Prayer without works is dead!
